Full Sturgeon Moon

As named by the American Indians, the full moon each month has a name which originates from an event in nature.  In August, the full moon is called the Sturgeon moon.  I took this photo last year during the full moon and it was quite amazing to see it appear just over the horizon and rise majestically into the beautiful sunset.  Size 18x18 on gallery wrapped canvas.
